Casa do JOA in Parada, 20 km from Bragança, is a harmonious wine cellar born from the rehabilitation of an old haystack house. Named after JOA (Jorge Ortega Afonso), it reflects a dreaming project rooted in the village’s rich history.

Situated 800m above sea level, Parada’s ancient vines, over 130 years old, yield more than 20 grape varieties. JOA, preserving the village’s winemaking tradition, created Alto do JOA and Feito de JOA wines that blend old spirit with enduring strength.
