Description
This is a Reserve wine from the DOC Alentejo classification. The terroir is characterized by clay soil with rose quartz, which contributes to the unique characteristics of the wine. The grapes are hand-harvested and undergo a 24-hour cold maceration process to extract maximum flavor and color. The fermentation is carefully managed under controlled temperatures in new French oak barrels, adding complexity and structure to the wine. This is followed by an 8-month batonnage, a process of stirring the lees, which imparts richness and depth to the wine.
The wine presents a straw-yellow color. On the nose, it offers a fragrant bouquet of tropical fruits and tobacco, with a subtle hint of oak. On the palate, it reveals succulent flavors of currants and pears. This is a dense wine with great potential, indicating that it will continue to evolve and improve with age. Cheers!
