Description

This wine comes from one of Bairrada’s most special vineyards and reflects the freshness and delicate character that defines Niepoort. Although young, it already has impressive balance and fine tannins. The nose reveals the purity of the Baga grape variety, with notes of violet, red fruits such as cherry, which complement the nuances of spice and the chalky character reminiscent of the terroir of the vineyards. On the palate, it has incredible structure and sophistication. The vibrant fruit and excellent acidity produce a delicate, elegant and exceptionally fine wine. The finish is refreshing, saline and clearly expresses the wine’s limestone terroir. This wine can be fully appreciated while young, displaying its harmony, but it also promises great ageing potential.
