Description
These grapes from the Syrah variety come from the parish of Paradela de Guiães in Sabrosa, while the Arinto grapes originate from the parish of Mateus in Vila Real. The climate characterizing Paradela de Guiães is Mediterranean, greatly influenced by the Ceira Valley. This valley enhances the entry of winds from the south, creating a wind channel that cools the nights and mitigates the very hot days. The soils are predominantly schist-based, with a prevalence of sandy loam textures and high stoniness.
