Description

Native to the Douro region, this grape variety has limited representation but the potential to rival great white grape varieties worldwide. We aim to elevate the Viosinho, showcasing its evolution potential when grown in a ‘solo’ environment.
These grapes from the Viosinho variety come from a vineyard that is approximately 35 years old, with a north-south orientation, located in the parish of Mateus, Vila Real. The vineyards are situated at an altitude of 450 meters and have a planting density of 5500 plants per hectare.
This wine has a citrus yellow color with hints of green. The aroma is floral and citrus, reminiscent of freshly cut grapefruit and lime, with subtle cedar notes. Mineral and tropical aromas stand out, all wrapped in a vibrant acidity. The finish is long and persistent.
