Description
GRAPE VARIETIES
40% Tannat, 30% Touriga Nacional
and 30% Alicante Bouschet.
WINEMAKING & AGEING
After handpicked harvest and careful selection of the grapes,
fermentation occurred in small stainless steel vats at 25ºC
temperature and after malolactic fermentation was completed
aged for 18 months in new French oak barrels. The wine rested
still for 6 months in bottle after barrel ageing.
TASTING NOTES
Reveals complex aromas in tasting where ripe fruit is present,
such as blueberries, balsamic notes and some smoked notes as
well. The tannins are silky and balanced in the mouth, well
integrated into the wine’s structure, providing a long and
consistent nish. A very gastronomic wine where Atlantic
freshness is present.
PAIRING SUGGESTIONS
Matured meats, hunting dishes such as wild boar. Meat stew
where soaked lamb can stand out.
