GRAPE VARIETIES
100% Syrah.

WINEMAKING & AGEING
Harvested in the rst week of October, these grapes were fermented
in temperature controlled stainless steel vats. An extended maceration of 3 weeks with the skins, combined with gentle macerations, allowed the best fruit from the grapes to be obtained without extracting too much tannin. After fermentation, the wine was aged in French oak wood until its bottling in January 2021.

TASTING NOTES
The quality of the fruit appears in the rst aromatic impact, recalling
blackberries and wild berries, associated and light note of meat quite typical of the variety. The full body involves solid, yet re ned, tannins, with ripe and fresh fruit throughout the entire tasting. The finish is wide, juicy and rich.

PAIRING SUGGESTIONS
Vigorous and structured, it perfectly accompanies several red meat
dishes with mustard sauce or peppers, such as the classic “steak au
poivre”. The ripe fruit also allows pairing with quite aged or spicy
cheeses.
