Quinta do Piloto COLLECTION Alfrocheiro is a limited edition selected by our winemaker and producer Filipe Cardoso.
This wine was created from grapes from the Herdade de Lau vineyard, in the Carvalhos plot, with approximately 20 years of age. Alfrocheiro is one of the oldest grape varieties in Portugal, and is also the mother of many other grape varieties, including Castelão. The purpose was to make a fruity red, without wood, to enjoy the
potential of this great Portuguese grape variety. Very aromatic aroma with notes of red fruits, like strawberry and raspberry, with slight balsamic notes.
Fresh, intense, youthful, soft and very pleasurable, very versatile, both for summer and winter.
