Soils: : Non-humic lytolic, with slight granite texture
Concept: It is the wine that deserves the owner’s preference when tasting new wines. Made from Syrah, planted in the Vilela parcel, it is rich in colour, has an intense aroma and is very attractive in the mouth, thanks to its fine tannins.
Grape Varieties: Syrah.
Vinification: Hand-picked harvest for 15kg boxes. Reception with total destemming and smooth crushing, followed by a long maceration. Ageing in new and used French oak barrels for 12 months.
Tasting Notes: Very intense red colour, with violet tones, which ensures its longevity. On the nose, it reveals fresh red fruits and some spices. Good volume in the taste, fine tannins and pleasant freshness, typical of the natural acidity of Cova da Beira wines’; the aromatic component is striking and complex, with the oak notes perfectly integrated.
Serving Temperature: 16-18ºC
Pairing Suggestions: Roasted lamb, sausages, stewed and roasted beef, stewed pork cheeks, game dishes.
