PROVAM

PROVAM is a limited liability company made up of 10 winegrower friends from Monção and Melgaço, who, with their passion for “wine things”, decided, in 1992, to build the winery here in the parish of Barbeita, in Monção. The winery appears after several dinners that these 10 friends held annually to present their own wines and share ideas, the so-called get-togethers. It was then from here that they began to build a modern and functional winery, and in 1993 it was our first harvest, from which Portal do Fidalgo emerges, our 1st wine, 100% Alvarinho.
We are a company that has always invested in innovation and studying the evolution of Alvarinhos wines.
