Once owned by the Marquês de Pombal, today it is one of the largest wine producing properties in the Lisbon region. With a stunning landscape between 120 hectares of vineyards and the bucolic mountains of Montejunto, it is the perfect environment for creating wines and perfect moments.
Visits to the estate and viticulture process, starting in the vineyards, going through the cellar and ending up at the tasting room and wine shop, as well as horse riding, harvesting experience, birdwatching, running or cycling, are some of the proposals that are part of Quinta do Gradil’s enotourism offer.
Located in Cadaval, the privileged location of Quinta do Gradil, between the Serra de Montejunto and the sea, allows you to take advantage of the Atlantic influence, which is decisive for the acid balance and freshness of their wines, but, at the same time, enjoy a good number of hours of sunshine, important for the good ripening of the grapes.
