Quinta do Roncão, nestled in the heart of the Douro Region, embodies a cherished family winemaking tradition. With 23 hectares dedicated to vineyards and olive groves, the winery prioritizes integrated farming for sustainability. The historic structure, dating back to 1923, sits on a three-tiered hillside.

In 2001, Maria Manuela Matos Mendes modernized the winery while preserving its original layout, emphasizing gravity use and traditional lagares made from schist and granite. Eunice, a fourth-generation winemaker, and Pasha, a passionate winemaker, joined forces in 2019 to craft exceptional wines. Their creations uniquely blend modern technologies with decades of local and international winemaking experience, resulting in truly exceptional wines.
