Since 1992, Burgundian Vincent Bouchard and Californian Kay Steffey Bouchard have lovingly restored Quinta do Tedo in the heart of Douro Valley. This small 18th-century estate expands across 18 hectares of steep terraced hillsides where 20+ native grape varieties grow in certified organic, classified grade-A vineyards (similar to Burgundy’s Grand Cru).
Honing the best of traditional and innovative winemaking and savoir-faire, the Bouchard Family and General Manager / Winemaker Jorge Alves have built a reputation for Quinta do Tedo’s internationally-acclaimed red and rosé Portos, Douro DOC wines, Extra Virgin Olive Oil and award-winning wine tourism.
Visit us for a technical tour of Quinta do Tedo’s foot-treading lagares, historic aging cellars, and new 55-meter barrel tunnel. Stay for a tasting, lunch or dinner at Bistro Terrace by the Michelin-starred Geadas Brothers, or overnight in one of our four B&B rooms.
