Quinta de Santa Cristina, in Celorico de Basto (Braga district), is part of the Vinhos Verdes Demarcated Region. Owned by the Pinto family, professional wine production began in 2004. The estate spans 60 hectares at 400 meters altitude, comprising three farms that grow 14 grape varieties. Its winery, built in 2012, has a capacity of 1 million liters but currently produces 500,000 liters, following Global G.A.P. standards.
The estate offers a range of wines, including Vinho Verde, Reserva, and sparkling varieties under several brands. While 70% of production is sold in Portugal, 30% is exported to international markets like Germany, Brazil, and the USA.
