UKAN is a winery founded by Koldo Eguren, fifth generation of the winemaking family, who seeks to reflect the landscape of Rioja Alavesa in a unique wine using the knowledge acquired from previous generations and adding a younger and more contemporary vision learned from his international experience.
UKAN is an artisanal winery focused on producing a great wine in limited quantities. The basis of the project is in the vineyard, carefully selected plots, from which sustainable viticulture is practiced, that bring together the essence of the Sonsierra. This attention to detail extends to the winemaking process, entirely artisan, which takes place in a Californian style winery located in Laguardia.
