The Adega23 project was born out of Manuela Carmona’s passion for the history and culture of wine – an area of interest that served as an escape from her profession as an ophthalmologist. The territory in which she was born (Sarnadas de Rodão/Castelo Branco), with which she never lost her connection, was where she decided to implement this daring wine project, due to its originality, size and modernity. The first ambassador of these characteristics is the Adega23 building itself.
