Quinta da Malaca

Malaca wines are produced on a 27-hectare estate with vineyards on sandy soils, located in Pêra, in the municipality of Silves, close to the sea, and began production in 2010. Luís Cabrita, its owner, watched his father produce wine using the traditional winemaking method, for his own consumption. The dedication, commitment and pleasure he saw his father take in the vineyard and wine production touched him to such an extent that after his death, he decided to start this project in his honour. Using modern methods and techniques, he produces red, white and rosé wine, and chose the name “Malaca” because it is the name given to the land on which most of the vineyards are located.
