Located to the east of Serra da Estrela, in Belmonte, Quinta dos Termos presents itself as a historic producer of Beira Interior. Family-based, since 1945, it is the headquarters of J. Carvalho Family Estates.
Currently, it has about 60 hectares of vineyards planted in granitic soils, at an average altitude of 500 meters. It cultivates 18 red varieties, such as Touriga Nacional, Trincadeira, Rufete, Jaen, Tinta Roriz, Marufo, Tinto Cão, Alfrocheiro, Baga, Syrah, Petit Verdot, Sangiovese, and 6 white varieties, such as Fonte Cal, Syria, Arinto , Verdelho and Riesling.
The winery is equipped with sophisticated technology, follows traditional techniques and is certified in Integrated Production, contributing to the preservation of sustainability.
At Quinta dos Termos it is possible to carry out various visiting and wine tourism experiences.
