Quinta do Crasto, located in the Douro Demarcated Region of Portugal, has been owned by the Roquette family for over a century. With historical roots, the name “Crasto” comes from the Latin castrum (Roman fort), and records of wine production date back to 1615. The estate was acquired in the early 20th century by Constantino de Almeida, renowned for his Port wine production. In 1981, Leonor and Jorge Roquette took over management, modernizing the winery and expanding the production of DOC Douro wines. Today, the estate is internationally recognized for its premium wines and olive oils.
